Interesting video... I notice the one on the CIA in the post below is gone?

I would not be surprised to find a modern day Iran-Contra going on with Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey as the main players this time around.

Remember that we already had one American politician go down because of a suitcase full of Turkish money. Add to that the fact that Paul Wolfowitz's last report on heroin smuggling completely ignored Turkey even though they are well recognized as a main route for heroin into Europe.

And, conveniently at the same time that we occupy the country, Afghanistan has increased production in poppy farming.

And remember the 1000s of weapons that disappeared in Iraq... Only to find that most of them turned up on the Turkish black market?

Smell a CIA drug/money/arms circle jerk going on?

You had asked over at my Blog and I had said off the top of my head Ney... I really need a Sibel Edmonds refresher course! It was Hastert that was taking money from Turkey.

Lukery has a lot of different stuff on that:
"The FARA forms specify that the official client is the Turkish Embassy - is it possible that some of the Embassy's financing comes from somewhere other than the Turkish Government? I would have assumed not - but perhaps the embassy has some 'external' fundraising. Even if that was the case, I would have assumed that the Turkish Govt had some oversight of the Embassy's budget, and therefore was at least aware of the big chunks of money being shovelled at Livingston (and similarly Feith and Perle's IAI)

In the comments here, some sugegsted that maybe it was the the Turkish military who was financing the lobbying expense, or perhaps the ATC (and/or ATAA et al). Sibel's comments above suggest that the ATC et al may have been the vehicle for bribing Hastert - it's possible that the same groups were the vehicle for paying Livingston and Perle/Feith."

You have to consider that the Turkish military has been involved in the Heroin trade.

There are a lot of facts out there that the American media completely ignores. My thoughts on the possibility of another Contra scandal going on are an opinion... But they are based on a lot of facts that most Americans don't know about because they are not reported on here.

I would not be surprised to find out that Viktor Bout was somehow involved in this or another weapon dealing scam that involved the CIA. But that may or may not be a different story, as near as I can tell.

BTW: I am not certain about this but John Kerry heading up the Senate foreign relations panel may be one of the most significant changes we have seen since the election.

I could be wrong but he may be able to chase down any of this from there, and if you type in "John Kerry, Iran-contra" into a google search you'll know why - if you don't remember this? :)
